What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use them, and similar technologies like local storage, to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the platform is used.
Categories we use
- Strictly necessary — required to run the platform, sign you in, and keep your session secure. These cannot be switched off.
- Preferences — remember choices such as your theme and your cookie-consent selection.
- Analytics — help us understand aggregate usage so we can improve the product. These are only set with your consent.
Analytics: who and what
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage of the public website — which pages are read, how visitors arrive, and where they drop off. We do not use it for advertising, and no advertising or remarketing cookies are set on this site.
Google Analytics runs in consent mode. Until you press Accept on the cookie banner, analytics storage is denied: no _ga cookie is written and no identifier is stored on your device. Google still receives a cookieless signal that a page was viewed, which cannot be tied to you across visits. Pressing Accept grants analytics storage and takes effect immediately. Pressing Decline leaves it denied.
Managing cookies
When you first visit, our banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can change your choice anytime by clearing this site’s data in your browser, which will bring the banner back and reset analytics storage to denied. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on, though some features may not work as intended.
